About Dr. Hope Hunter
Dr. Cassandra Hope Hunter is a Livingston, Tennessee native with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tennessee Technological University. After being a medical ICU nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, she returned to her childhood dreams and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Hunter’s passions include exotics, shelter medicine, increasing access to care, and mental health awareness in her veterinary colleagues. At home, she enjoys spending time with both her two-legged (Nathan and Emily) and four-legged (a cloister of cats and three dogs) family, gardening, reading, and gaming.
Dr. Hunter is very excited to meet you and all of your furry, scaled, and feathered loved ones.
